Historical Archaeology in North Vancouver

Many thanks to Professor Bob Muckle and his archaeology students for showing me around the very cool logging camp they are excavating near Capilano College in North Vancouver. Bob has run the Capilano College Archaeological Fieldschool for years now — and I was pleased to finally get there and see the evidence they have unearthed (and unmossed, unferned, and unloggged) of a Japanese logging camp with occupation dating to approximately 1920.
