More Mining Protests in Northern BC

The Globe and Mail is reporting on a recent rally against mining activities in northern BC. It coincides with what was supposed to be the start of a trial of members of Tahltan-speaking communities who were arrested in September for blocking mining exploration. The charges of contempt of court were, however, dropped against the fifteen arrested people.
