Tsawwassen Treaty Passes

CKNW (980AM Vancouver) is reporting that the Tsawwassen First Nation has voted 72% in favour of its treaty with Canada and British Columbia. This treaty is the first passed by a native community under the BC Treaty Process; ratification in the BC legislature and Canadian parliament must follow.
